The needle is very fine and each injection takes a second or two. Most people describe a brief pinch. Numbing cream is available, and it is worth saying if you are nervous — it changes how the appointment is paced.

Can I go back to work after?

Yes. There is no downtime. You may have small raised marks where the needle went in, like an insect bite, and those settle within an hour.

What happens when it wears off?

The muscle gradually returns to what it was doing and the lines come back as they were. Nothing gets worse for having been treated. Most people book again at three to four months.

Who should not have it?

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with a neuromuscular condition, and anyone with an infection at the injection site. Some medications matter too. This is why the evaluation is a physician’s and why a medical history is taken.

Why is it priced per unit?

Because that is what varies. Two people treating the same zone can need very different amounts depending on how strongly the muscle moves. Pricing per unit means you pay for what you actually receive, and the total is agreed in writing before anything is injected.

What if I decide not to treat that day?

Then you have had the evaluation and you leave with a written plan. You are under no obligation to treat anything on the day you are assessed.
